Another Baldy hike + Mile Hi hike

Here are pics from my pretty uneventful hike up and over Baldy on Friday:

And here are some shots from Saturday's Mile Hi hike. A moose was laid out resting just off the trail. It was so still and quiet I almost walked right into it. 

(The arrow points to the moose. This was on my way down. Gave him lots of space!)

First hike of spring!

I keep missing my girls' weekly hikes so Lola and I climbed Baldy today. Up the face and down the valley. Two bald eagles flew down right above me. I could have touched them they were so close. Crazy! Wish I had gotten a picture but I was dealing with shoelaces that came untied. Excellent hike though!
